In-House Wood Framing
The wood framing industry has outdated processes and lacks the teamwork and collaboration clients need. Our wood framing department aims to change this by assessing and planning projects in detail, identifying value-adds, and managing the wood framing. They collaborate with the entire team, key value-added suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure a constructible design and an efficient, cost-effective construction plan. This in-house control of the framing process ensures critical elements work with all trades that rely on structural framing and meets your budget, safety standards, and schedule.
How we do it
Plan detail, product, and specification review
We provide a preliminary truss design to uncover design and constructability issues, avoid simplistic substitutions, and offer cost-effective alternates.
In-House Estimating
In-house labor and material takeoffs and estimates to set a budget and provide design alternates that result in realistic budgets.
In-house submittal review
Truss, hold-down, and steel shop drawings are reviewed for conformance and to avoid conflict with MEP. This procedure ensures that all trades can work without the need for tear-out and replacement.
On-Site Supervision
Our on-site framing superintendent is briefed throughout the design process and is a trained, experienced carpenter who manages all material and labor to the contract intent.
