Pinkard Construction, a general contractor operating in Colorado for over 60 years, recently announced a new Manager of Field Operations.
Blake Chambliss, Pinkard's Chief Operating Officer, promoted Troy Bohlender (a 32-year construction industry veteran) from Quality Control Manager to Manager of Field Operations. Chambliss says that Bohlender’s new role will allow him to continue to manage Pinkard’s robust quality control program and support the company's commitment to offering hands-on support and development to its workforce. This, he says, is critical to maintaining quality and timely construction.
“Troy has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and served as a valuable mentor to many of our superintendents and field personnel,” says Chambliss. “We congratulate Troy on his well-deserved promotion and look forward to his continued contributions to Pinkard’s continued success.”
In his new role, Troy will support all project teams, primarily focusing on the field side of operations. Chambliss says that the role will be crucial to the success of Pinkard’s projects and project teams as we continue to grow and take on larger, more complex projects.
“I have been with Pinkard for almost 27 years, and I am still excited to be here,” says Bohlender. “Mentorship and development of the team in the field is really what allows us to meet such high standards, and this will be my number one priority.”
