Pinkard Construction has been awarded the South Metro Fire Rescue Authority's Fire Station 15 replacement construction project. The project will replace Station 15, which is located at 2702 E Dry Creek Road in Centennial. The proposed design is approximately 12,000 square feet with two stories consisting of three apparatus bays, six sleeping rooms, a day room, a kitchen, a dining room, offices, a fitness room, and support areas.
"We are thrilled to have been selected for this important project," said Tony Burke, President of Pinkard Construction. "Our team has extensive experience in constructing public safety and municipal projects, and we are committed to providing the South Metro Fire Rescue Authority with a facility that helps them better serve the community."
The construction began in September 2023 and is expected to conclude in the summer of 2024. The design was completed in January 2023 by OZ Architecture. The project will provide a state-of-the-art facility for the South Metro Fire Rescue Authority to better serve the community.
Pinkard Construction has a long history of constructing municipal projects in Colorado, with over 37 municipalities and authorities served. Burke says that this will mark over 250 Renovations/additions and Pinkard’s 95th municipal/public project.
