Centura Health's two new emergency departments are being constructed on the same sites as Pinkard's Neighborhood Health Clinics projects.
Each emergency department is approximately 10,000 sf, and contains ten exam rooms, trauma room, laboratory, digital radiology room, bariatrics room, CT scan room, med prep area, drive-up EMS entrance, and extensive med gas.
The two ground-up facilities are on structural slabs with structural steel, metal panels, glass curtainwall, stucco, and stone.
The Golden site required extensive over-excavation and retention wall construction due to a dipping bedrock zone.
