The $2.8 million Cimarron Elementary project was a 54,665 gsf phased gut and renovation with almost 30,000 sf of demolition and reconstruction and numerous selective renovations and reconfigurations. Scope included abatement and mold mitigation, new millwork and carpet, new windows including a storefront system, bathroom relocations, and extensive MEP upgrades with new switchgear and five new rooftop units.


The project was phased over the spring and summer months and included double shifts to accommodate the school schedule and meet a tight August deadline. To accommodate construction, staff/teacher offices were relocated to existing on-site trailers.


Pinkard completed the project 16 working days ahead of the contracted completion date.
